Going to the doctor should be easy and affordable. We need free or low-cost healthcare, including mental health and sexual health services.
📚 Schools That Support Us
School should prepare us for life, not just tests. We need more counselors, fewer suspensions, and classes that reflect our cultures and experiences.
🌱 Clean Air, Water & Green Jobs
Pollution in the Bronx is making us sick. We need cleaner air, more green spaces, and jobs that fight climate change.
💼 Good Jobs for Youth
It’s hard to find a good job. We need paid internships, job training, and careers in growing industries like clean energy so youth can build a future without leaving the Bronx.
🗽 Respect for Immigrants
No one should live in fear because of their immigration status. All young people deserve education, healthcare, and legal protection, no matter where they were born.
🚌 Better, Cheaper Public Transit
Public transportation is expensive and unreliable. We need safer, more affordable buses and trains that get us where we need to go.
🥗 Healthy & Affordable Food
Fast food is everywhere, but fresh food isn’t. We need more grocery stores, farmers' markets, and food programs to make healthy eating easy.
🛑 Safety Without Over-Policing
More police don’t always mean more safety. We need better community programs, mental health support, restorative justice, and real solutions to keep our neighborhoods safe.
🧠 Mental Health Matters
Too many young people struggle with stress and anxiety but can’t get help. Mental health care should be easy to access, judgment-free, and available in schools and community centers.
🏢 Affordable Housing:
Everyone should have a safe, affordable place to live. Rents keep rising, and too many families are getting pushed out. We need housing that stays affordable and gives people more control over their homes.
